Kirk 🤨 Testing out more AI tools with this recreation of the opening scene of _Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan,_ where Kirk berates Lt. Saavik for her performance during the Kobayashi Maru test. I used PixVerse for the video generation, Gemini for the base image, ElevenLabs for the voices, and Topaz Labs for upscaling. Sound effects taken from the _Star Trek Generations_ sound effects library. In all honesty, I made it this way because Veo 3 wouldn't animate the image, no matter what I tried. Meaning when AI is put in the hand of artists it will only get better and better plus add progression of the technology and you'll get something almost indistinguishable from reality. It's just a matter of time before a "if you can't beat em, join em" era starts in film. Many directors hate it for now and that's good, but damn is it getting close in many ways. He also bizarrely claimed that it's the anti-AI side that's obsessed with cat girls?
