Let’s compare Apple’s most expensive iPhone 16 Pro Max to its cheapest model, the iPhone 16e. Surprisingly, both phones share many similarities. However, there are certainly advantages to opting for the $1200 iPhone.

Cleaning a iPhone charging port
So my 10 year old nephew is becoming more of a “tech kid” every day. His mom just got the iPhone 17, and while we were talking about it, I casually mentioned that older iPhones actually used to come with a charging cable, the wall adapter, and earphones in the box. He didn’t believed me at all and instead of asking me or any other family member again or googling it, the kid immediately pulled up ChatGPT to fact check me. I don’t know what’s funnier that he thought I was making it up, or that his first instinct was to ask Chatgpt for the truth. Later on when I was thinking about the incident, part of me felt old and a little scared not sure why but honestly, it’s hilarious how different their “normal” is compared to ours.

iPhone 4s vs iPhone 17 Pro
My wife recently upgraded to iPhone 17 and he have held on to ALL he previous iPhones perfectly. We still have the iPhone X in perfect condition. 3 Weeks in, her phone slipped out her pocket from our dining chair to the concrete floor with Spigen case on. We weren’t worried as the drop was from a pretty low height but lo and behold!
I've had the iPhone 17 for a bit over a month. I went from a 16 pro to this. Occasionally I miss the telephoto but other than that it's perfect. Battery is great, lasts me all day. I always set a charge limit of 90% then when I get to work I charge it to 100% then I don't need to worry about it for the rest of the day. Easily 8 hours SOT. Love the Sage colour. Went with the Liquid air case from Sipgen. Great look, feel and grip. Brilliant case. Oh and going from a pro to bad model I didn't realise how significant the weight difference was but maaaan after like a day I was like " it sooo light, I can hold the thing for ages without me hands aching 😄" Anyway yeah, loveeee it
DISCLAIMER: I don't like Apple AT ALL and that's (also) because if EU never forced them to open a bit they would have been worse than Google. However, now Android risks of getting like iPhone was back in the day so I tought they could have been a (not really great) solution to degoogle fast. No google service by default, no installation of nothing, just change search engine from Safari. I'm not too great when it comes to computing, I barely install Linux by myself on PC but phones are all another story. I'm open to get insulted and learning how to degoogle better but I just wanted to throw it there and see if it can be an option
I have been using the iPhone Air for 1 week and I would like to talk about the biggest controversies. # First impressions of the super thin design It's beautiful. I really like the super thin Titanium frame and the very minimalistic Camera Plateau. There is no complaints about how beautiful this iPhone is compared to the other ones I have. # Thoughts on the Camera The camera is.... good. I don't like that there is no telephoto, but i'll live! # The battery is not as bad as you may think it is... I have been using my iPhone Air all day and I start my day with 80% and ended my day with 20%. Honestly, very great battery life! Kudos to the C1X and the N1 chip! # The accessories are a nightmare.... I bought this third-party case from best buy because it was the first thin clear case I saw. Although it is somewhat good, I sometimes end up taking the case off to feel the thinness of the iPhone Air. The screen protector though is a complete mess... it is a privacy screen matte plastic screen protector and it SUCKS! It is starting to bubble and it has not even been a month. The quality is also very grainy and there is a notch that does not cover the Dynamic Island. # Final thoughts? This or switch to the iPhone 17 Pro? I am definitely keeping this iPhone. This has been the best iPhone I have ever owned! Although it would be cool to own the iPhone 17 Pro (with 2 more cameras and extra battery life), the iPhone Air is definitely cooler! Best. iPhone. **EVER!**
I have been an iPhone user since 2018 and have had a total of 5 iPhones over the years (iPhone 7 plus, iPhone 11, iphone 13, iphone 15 pro max and now the iPhone air) when I bought the iPhone air I was expecting to return it since i thought I was gonna give a lot and well I decided to give it a try. Boy how wrong I was… the iPhone air is the best iPhone I have ever had it’s the most comfortable to use and it’s fast, very fast. The C1X modem is awesome and I’m never without 3 service bars at the least (I have t mobile) and it’s just an awesome phone… apart from the telephoto lenses I really don’t feel like I miss anything from my previous iPhones. The 🔋has been great and and the phone overall is perfectly balanced. It’s really has everything you need and less of the things you never use. I know people say this phone is overpriced, and it’s not worth it but if you actually give it a try and use it who knows you might end up enjoying it. Mine has a Spigen Zero One case and even with the case the phone is just so light and comfortable. I had a few iPod touches when I was a kid and this feels just like those but bigger. :)
